About Us
The Hibiscus is a immersive RP venue, themed around the culture and lore of the Othard continent, with a focus on the Azim Steppe and its many Xaela tribes.We offer a traditional Teahouse experience, a kitchen spanning the continent and an Onsen bathhouse for weary travellers who are looking for a respite. Eat, drink and relax in our ambient atmosphere or take a dip in our traditional baths.The Hibiscus also offers a VIP lounge for hire for those who have a special celebration in mind or are looking for a place to unwind with friends!

ETIQUETTE & RULESWe are an Immersive RP heavy venue where RP is encouraged but not required. Please respect other players and staff members while visiting with these few simple rules:1. Please put away any weapons before entering. Minions are permitted should you notify staff (We love animals!)2. Please refrain from casting spells and effect heavy skills in the venue.3. Respect other players boundaries. We are a SFW venue and any NSFW RP is prohibited4. No form of abuse towards our staff and customers will be tolerated. Any such behaviour will be escalated and if needed put forward to the appropriate game authorities.5. Staff will use "Looking to Meld Materia" Icons for quick identification. Please refrain from using them.6. Using /shout or /yell is highly discouraged, staffs use it to make announcements.7. Please keep any general chat channels spoiler free!

Mira Miroa - Owner/CookMira is the owner of the Hibiscus Ryokan. The daughter of a successful Steppe merchant from the Kha tribe, Mira has been involved in commerce her entire life.A friendly disposition plus a keen eye for potential business ventures, she opened her own establishment in the Goblet after the successful run of her first venue the Hibiscus Teahouse in Shirogane.Ul'Dah being the shining jewel of the desert and a place of many riches, it was the ideal place for her to expand the Hibiscus into a full fledged Ryokan Inn.She is an easy going individual at heart, and loves nothing more than to talk to her patrons and make sure they enjoy their stay at the Hibiscus. She also has a rather odd sense of humour, her jokes often flying over other's heads to her displeasure.
Bleiswys Moon - StaffDue to a unfortunate incident while Visiting the Azim Steppe, Bleiswys Moon has been transformed into a AuRa!To help her adjust to her strange new body, She proposed to work for Mira. She is a kind and open person that always strifes to know more about those she meets. Being a fully fledged Astrologian, Bleis's true strenghts lie in her aetherical abilities and are of no real use within the Ryokan. So she tries her best to make every guest feel welcome and at Home, like Mira did when Bleis visited the Ryokan for the first time. Most of the time she is a rather bubbly personality that loves to laugh and make other laugh.
